For sale is a Winchester Model 54 bolt-action rifle in .22 Hornet. Serial number – 46353A. After running a serial number lookup, we believe that this rifle was manufactured in 1935. Winchester Repeating Arms introduced their first bolt action rifle for sporting use in 1925. This rifle, called the Model 54, was among the first factory bolt action rifles whose sole, intended use was the hunting of game animals. The Model 54 was short-lived but pave the way for on of the most iconic hunting rifles, The Winchester Model 70. Please refer to the photos as the stock appears to have been refinished, the rifle appears to have been drilled and tapped on the side of the receiver, swivel studs are missing, and remnants of bubble wrap are present on the stock.
