For sale is a Standard Products M1 Carbine semi-automatic rifle in .30 Cal Carbine. Serial number – 2188354. This rifle is in excellent condition and features an Underwood Barrel with a date of manufacture of December 1943. It comes with a 15-round magazine. Standard Products M1 Carbines are one of the harder-to-find manufacturers. They only made about 5%-8% of all M1 Carbines between late 1943 to early/mid-1944. Although originally thought to be used as a rear guard rifle for artillery crews and units off the front lines. The M1 Carbine proved itself in battle and demands for it to be pushed to the front line troops sprung up. Its simple design made it easy to manufacture so the US government obliged the demands and churned out M1 Carbines especially late in the War.
