For sale is a Springfield U.S. Model 1878 Trapdoor single-shot in .45-70 Gov't. Serial number- 302021. This rifle looks to have been manufactured in 1885. Offered in very nice used condition is this trapdoor rifle in 45-70 government caliber. Has a pretty worn stock cartouche, overall very good metal finish with all proofs still present.
