For sale is a Springfield M1903 bolt-action rifle in .30-06. Serial number- 1457606. This M1903 is in great condition and comes with a sling, however there is a strand of tape on the buckle. We are unsure if this is to prevent scratching or if the sling is damaged. We believe this rifle was manufactured in 1934 via the serial number however the barrel states it was manufactured in 1933. We are thinking Springfield was using what was left of the pervious year's barrels and that this is the original barrel to the rifle from factory. The stock is the Type 8 style with seemingly no markings. This could either mean the stock was sanded down and refinished or replaced completely.
