For sale is a Smith & Wesson Model 586 revolver in .357 Mag. Serial number- AWV9139. This 586-1 is in great condition with an excellent bore! The lockup is tight and the timing is on. Please Note: There is some minor holster wear at the end of the barrel and under-lug, as well as a divot in the base of the right handle slab (appears to be a natural knot). The Smith & Wesson Model 586 is an L-Frame, double-action revolver chambered in .357 magnum. The L-Frame Smith & Wesson is a "medium/heavy" frame specifically designed to hold up to prolonged use with full-power .357 magnum loads, as well as any .38 Special ammunition. The 586 features a 6-round cylinder, and a full-length lug under the barrel puts extra weight out front to reduce muzzle flip. The revolver is constructed of carbon steel and has a traditional, deep Smith & Wesson blue finish.
