For sale is a Sears, Roebuck and Co Model 1 bolt action rifle in .22 S/L/LR. Serial number- T117473. Sears, Roebuck and Co Model 1 bolt action rifle chambered in .22 short, long or long rifle. This is a single shot bolt action manufactured for Sears by Winchester and is a clone of the Winchester Model 121. This features a 21″ barrel with dove tailed front blade and ramp rear sight, grooved receiver and a full length walnut Monte Carlo stock.

Please refer to the photos as there is finish wear and spotting present on the barrel.

    This is a well-designed firearm and a great first gun for kids or adults. I like that the safety goes on when the bolt is cycled. There is a groove in the bottom of the receiver where you can just drop the 22 round and close the bolt feeding it into the chamber. Even though it is a single shot, it is fast to reload and shoot – drop a round into the receiver, slam the bolt home and take off the safety at the same time. Since my brother and I received these guns in the ‘60’s and after many thousands of rounds through each on our ranch in Texas, it has never failed nor had any problems and continues to be my primary 22 to this day.
