For sale is a Sears Ranger in .22cal, This rifle does not have a serial number. The rifle is in good condition, however it is missing the charging handle and is sold AS-IS. The Sears Ranger Model 101.16 is a department store variant of the Savage Model 6 or the Stevens Model 87. Known as a "Gill Gun" because of the slotted frame, the Ranger features a charging handle that can be pushed in to lock the bolt for single fire operation or pulled out for semi-auto fire. Since this rifle does not have a serial number, it was produced some time before 1968.
