For sale is a Savage Arms Model 242 Series C over under shotgun in .410 gauge. Serial number- C524259. Includes the pictured box which appears to be the correct model but the SN was changed on the box as seen in the pictures. Has extractors. Please refer to the photos as there is a slight crack in the wood where it meets the receiver. Both bores chambered in .410. These guns were manufactured between 1977 and 1981. The gun utilities a single trigger and single exposed hammer with a barrel selector lever incorporated into the hammer. We belive both barrels are choked "FULL" due to the box but can not confirm. Chambered for 3" shells.
