For sale is a Ruger 44 Carbine semi-automatic rifle in .44 Mag. Serial number – 102-40432. Mfg. 1977. The 44 Carbine was designed as a close-range carbine for deer hunting in dense woods, Ruger released the Model 44 Carbine in 1961 as the "Deerstalker", a moniker it used until 1962 due to a lawsuit brought by the Ithaca Gun Company forcing Ruger to drop the moniker. Please refer to the photos as there is minor pitting present on the barrel, and a very shallow split in the wood on the bottom of the stock.
