For sale is a Remington Model 12 Takedown pump-action rifle in .22 Rem Special. Serial number – RW398861. These rifles are rare in this caliber! Please refer to the photos as there is a lot of rust and minor pitting present across the rifle. There are also 2 large cracks on both sides of the stock. The Remington Model 12 is a slide-action, solid-breech, hammerless, takedown, side-ejection rifle. This gun, designed by J. D. Pederson, was introduced in 1909 and produced through 1936. During the 37-year period, there were 820,759 guns sold. The gun featured a hammerless action and competed quite successfully with the 1906 Winchester which still had an exposed hammer.
