For sale is a Remington Model 742 Woodsmaster semi-auto rifle in 6mm Rem Mag. Serial number- 102294. PLEASE NOTE: The caliber marking on the barrel looks to have been modified so having a gunsmith check to make sure this is a 6mm Rem Mag is recommended. This rifle was manufactured in 1963 and possibly repaired in 1964. The Remington Model 742, also known as the Woodsmaster is a semi-automatic rifle that was produced by Remington Arms from 1960 until 1981. It uses a straight 4 round magazine. Features include a side ejection port and a free-floating barrel. Please note: There is heavy pitting on the crown of the barrel.
