For sale is a Remington Model 600 bolt action rifle in .222 Remington. Serial number- 9071. This Model 600 is in great condition and comes with a scope base. Has an 18.5" barrel with a vent rib. This particular model was manufactured in 1964 making it a first year production. Designed to be a guide rifle, the Remington Arms Model 600 was a push feed bolt-action rifle produced by Remington Arms from 1964–1968. The M600 has a few unique features including a "shark fin" front sight and a "dog leg" bolt. This Model was the precursor to the Model 660 (manufactured 1968–1971); the Model Mohawk 600 (manufactured 1972–1979); and the Model 673 (manufactured 2003–2004). The M600 has a short 18.5" barrel and Remington promoted it heavily, not as a rifle, but as a high power "carbine".
