For sale is a Ratmil/Cugir Romak 3 semi-automatic rifle in 7.62x54r. Serial number- R1584. This PSL is in great condition with a good bore! It comes with a sling, magazine and a POSP-style scope. All serial numbers appear to match on this rifle. We are not sure of the brand or magnification of the scope, although the glass and BDC hash marks are clear. This Romak-3 was manufactured and assembled by Ratmil/Cugir in Romania and imported through Delta Investment Group, Virginia. It is identical in almost every respect to the original military version of the PSL except for modifications to comply with the U.S. import laws. The Romanian PSL was designed in 1974 when the Soviet Union ceased sharing technical information and exporting military equipment to Romania, as a consequence of the latter's refusal to join the Invasion of Czechoslovakia. It is very similar in appearance to the Soviet SVD Dragunov but internally different as the PSL is based on the RPK light machinegun.
