For sale is a Smith & Wesson Model 547 revolver in 9mm. Serial number- 19D8728. This Model 547 is in good condition and comes with Pachmayr grips and the original wooden grips. Features a 4" barrel with an excellent bore. This particular 547 is also the square butt version.

The Model 547 was originally developed for French police trials as a modified version of the FBI's Model 13; however, the French passed on the revolver in favor of their own MR73 and it ended up in the civilian market instead. Chambered in the popular 9mm Luger cartridge with a special extraction system that makes moon clips no longer necessary. Standard blade and notch sights, standard markings, un-shrouded ejector rod, smooth trigger, checkered semi-bobbed hammer, and checkered round butt grips.

The S&W Model 547 is a heavy barrel, 9mm version of the legendary K-frame, 6-shot M&P revolver. S&W made 10,270 of these from 1980 to 1985; 6486 round with butt (and 3" barrel), and 3784 with a square butt and 4" barrel, making this particular revolver even rarer.
