For sale is a Pietta Model 1851 Navy Replica Colt semi-automatic pistol in .36 Cal black powder. Serial number – 1281. PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE NOT POSITIVE OF THE MANUFACTURER OF THE THIS 1851 REPLICA. THERE IS NO MANUFACTURER STAMP ON THE REVOLVER. However, the brass frame and the dark wood grips look like Pitta's style of replica. Produced from 1851-1872, the Navy is one of the most famous and widely-used cap and ball revolvers ever produced. This 1851 replica is perfectly balanced and features a tapered octagon barrel, 6-shot cylinder, fixed sights, and a one-piece walnut grip.
