For sale is a Mauser K98 bolt-action rifle in 8mm Mauser. Serial number- 1568M. The serial numbers located on the receiver and baseplate are matching, but the safety, bolt, and bolt handle are not matching. Please note: there are no sights installed on this rifle. Stamped "AX" on receiver, which was the German WWII rifle ordnance code for Feinmechanische Werke GmbH, Erfurt, Altonaerstr. 25. The stock is an unoriginal sporter installed after being brought into the states.
