For sale is a Mauser K98 bolt-action rifle in 8mm Mauser. Serial number-385. Lots of Nationalist Socialist Worker Party stamps are present. This is a standard late WWII K98 rifle with a "byf" which means it was manufactured by the Mauser factory in 1942. The receiver ring is marked with a "WaA80" Waffenamt proof over "byf 44", and "Mod. 98" marked on the side wall. The left rear side of the barrel is stamped with Nazi proofs and the serial number. The bore looks excellent with no pitting or rust! Unfortunately, it has been sporterized but might make a great restoration project.
