For sale is a Marlin Original Golden 39A lever action rifle in .22 S/L/LR. Serial number- 25208645. This Original Golden 39A is in good condition and comes with a hammer extension and the manual. It is equipped with a 24 inch micro groove barrel with an excellent bore. Has a full-length steel tubular magazine with a 26 Short, 21 Long or 19 Long Rifle capacity. It also features a "JM " stamp on the barrel showing it was manufactured by the original Marlin team. We believe the rifle was manufactured in 1975. The Golden Model 39A was introduced in 1939. The Marlin 39A represents the oldest and longest continuously produced shoulder firearm in the world. The Golden 39A is still considered one of the finest examples of a lever .22 rifle, and one of the most accurate .22 rifles ever produced. It is also the best-selling lever rimfire in U.S. history.
