For sale is a J C Higgins / Sears Roebuck Model 50 in .30-06. This rifle does not have a serial number. This JC Higgins model 50 is in good condition and is built on an FN model 98 Mauser action with a 22" chrome lined barrel. The receiver is stamped "FN Action – Made in Belgium" just to the right of the chamber proof marks. The action is drilled and tapped with dove-tail scope mounts. The stock is in good condition for its age, with some dings, scratches , and wear marks. This rifle was produces between 1951 and 1955.
