For sale is a Iver Johnson & Cycle Works 12 Gauge, Hercules grade, double-barrel shotgun. Serial number- 1816. This low serial Hercules grade side by side features 28" barrels with fair bores, a case hardened receiver and walnut furniture. Has "Iver Johnson's Arms & Cycle Works Fitchburg, Mass USA" stamped on receiver. The top is stamped "IVER JOHNSON HERCULES SMOKELESS PAT'D MAR. 16 1915, APR, 27 1915. The wood furniture is in beautiful condition minus a couple dings and scratches and the barrels display an interesting patinaed wear. Please refer to photos for exact surface character. This gun has extractors. We are not sure of the choke.
