Modeled after the Frank Wesson tip-up rifles that were first made in Worcester, Massachusetts in the 1850s. Chambered for the 45-70 Gov't. cartridge, this rifle reflects true 19th century styling with antique color case hardening on the frame and a crescent butt plate. Its handsome American walnut stocks and fore-ends are accentuated by cut checkering.
