Firearms International Corp Imported FN Mauser – .270 Win

For sale is a Firearms International Corp Imported FN Mauser bolt-action rifle in .270 Win. Serial number- 464. Considering its potential age, this rifle is in great condition. Firearms International was an importer in Washington DC. Taken over by Garcia Sporting Goods around 1970. So that would make this gun 60s or older. These rifles were made and imported by FIE, Sears Roebuck, Roy Weatherby, and likely several others between 1947-1963. FN made one of the best type 98 Mauser commercial actions. Includes a Weaver K2.5 rifle scope as well. Numbers match on action. However, markings are very unusual for an FN rifle and include the importers (Firearms International Corp. Washington DC) logo on the receiver ring and left receiver wall in place of the usual "Fabrique Nationale" logo, and the normal for FN "Chrome Vanadium Steel" stamped on the barrel.
