For sale is a DWM Luger 1914 Model Military semi-automatic pistol in 9mm. Serial number – 8696. Mfg Date 1916. This pistol includes a magazine, the serial on the mag is not matching the pistol. The pistol is a completely matching, 1916 Dated, DWM (Deutsche Waffen und Munitions Fabriken) WWI Imperial Luger. This is chambered for 9mm and has a standard 4″ (100mm) barrel fixed sights and walnut grips. This WWI Luger manufactured for standard issue firearm to the German military. A very unique specimen in good condition with a lot of history! The Luger has all matching numbers. The magazine is aluminum-based with a Mauser 63 factory stamp, dating the magazine to 1939-1945. The barrel and the receiver are marked with the full serial number and suffix. Additionally, there is 8.82 reflected on the barrel which was the proof marking of the diameter of the barrel. The grooves are designed to be 9mm. These series of Lugers were produced from 1914 until 1918 for the German Military.
