For sale is a replica Tower Flintlock Pistol. Serial number-NONE. The wood on this flint lock pistol is in good condition except some chips at the base of the pistol grip. The barrel, lock, hammer and pan all show rust and light pitting. The barrel on this pistol is marked Dixie Gun Works and the lock is marked with British Crown and "TOWER" at rear. All of the brass is intact and in good condition. This pistol includes the ramrod. Pistols of this type were the principal British Army sidearm at the time of the Revolution. The Tower of London, where the pistol was originally made, was a major British arsenal, as well as a royal residence and notorious prison.
