For sale is a Dixie Gun Works – Dueling Pistol Set in .36 Caliber. These pistols do not have serial numbers. PLEASE NOTE: These pistols DO NOT FIRE. They are for decoration only. The kit includes two .36 cap and ball pistols, a wooden display case, and two small wooden storage canisters. The pistol duel was based on a code of honor. Duels were fought not so much to kill the opponent , but rather to show your opponent that you are so upset with their actions that you are willing to die. Duels usually took place between gentlemen of the nobility class
