For sale is a Custom German Mauser bolt-action rifle in .25-06 REM. Serial number- N/A. This rifle is in excellent condition and comes equipped with full-length mannlicher stock with a Monte Carlo comb, a smooth Mauser 98 action, and a double trigger. We are unsure of the manufacturer of this custom rifle due to the lack of makers marks but we believe it was built sometime during WWII era Germany (either shortly before or after). We sought to look at the barrel under the stock, however, it is glass bedded and is very tight. We could not remove the sock from the action and barrel. Both before and after WWII custom shops and firearms companies around the world took the actions and/or the barrels of surplus military rifles and sporterized them for hunting. The German Mauser 98 was a very common rifle both before and after World War II, more than a few shops in Germany built custom sporting rifles out the of the legendary Mauser action.
