The revolver comes with a Colt presentation case with scenes from the joining of the two rail lines and the interior lined with green velvet. The Transcontinental Railroad ran from Sacramento to Omaha, finally connecting the West to the Mid-West and allowing both people and cargo to travel between the two without the need for a difficult, and often perilous, journey by wagon.
