Up for grabs is a Colt SF VI revolver in .38 SPL. Serial number- SV6257. The SF-VI is a modern version of the Colt Detective Special using a new stainless steel frame, with various simplifications meaning that it was easier to produce and didn't require hand fitting as was the case with the original Detective Special. Manufactured in 1996. This revolver comes chambered in .38SPL with a 2" barrel. This comes as shown in pictures and features a matte ss finish, with (6)rd cylinder, and Colt grips w/ gold medallion. The SF-VI had what was possibly the lightest double-action trigger ever used on a production revolver, essentially this model is a Detective Special in stainless steel with a new internal mechanism.
