This Colt M1911A1 U.S. Army pistol was manufactured in 1944. The pistol’s condition sits at 80%-90% of the original condition and has slightly more wearing on the slide than the frame. Both the frame and the slide were manufactured by Colt. Frame markings are congruent with the general 1911s from this era but features a “N.A. Co Ridgefield. NJ” import mark, suggesting post-WWII importation in the U.S. As most Colt M1911 are, this pistol is chambered in the classic .45 ACP or .45 Auto. The 5″ bore is in excellent condition.
