For sale is a Colt Cobra revolver in .38 Spl. Serial number- 148186. This Cobra is in good condition. In 1999, Colt's manufacturing of double action revolvers came to an end. With more than 120 years of continuous production, the company pulled the plug. Since that day, the snake guns' (Anaconda, Python, Cobra, etc.) values have increased greatly and are in great demand. The classic .38 Special Colt Cobra 6-shooter was produced from 1950 to 1981. The double-action revolver used a blued aluminum frame, 2" barrel, wooden grip, shrouded ejector rod and a ramp sight. Unloaded, it was a feathery 15 ounces! The architecture was fairly standard with round butt or square butt options, a backward bullet fluted barrel, etc.
