For sale is Colt Model 1911 semi-automatic pistol in .45 ACP. Serial number- 548553. This Colt Model 1911 is in great condition considering its age. It also has a fantastic bore! It comes with a canvas "MILLS" mag holder, (3) 7-round magazines, a disassembly tool, and a lanyard. The receiver is marked "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" and has a serial number that dates the pistol back to a 1918 manufacture ( 548553). The slide is marked "MODEL OF 1911 U.S. NAVY" with a "circled" Rampant Colt mark and was manufactured in 1912 (Pre-WWI). This would appear that this may have been a rebuild and the Navy slide was added to the frame at some point in time. An "H" is stamped under the firing pin retainer, as well as directly above on the rear of the slide. One of the magazines appears to be un-used and has a toe-mark of "L". The second magazine has a toe-mark of "R", and the third magazine does not have a toe-mark.
