For sale is a Carl Gustafs Stads Gevarsfaktori M96 bolt-action rifle in 6.5x55mm. Serial number- 148874. Manufactured in 1904. This excellent example of a Swedish Mauser is in fantastic condition with an excellent bore! It features matching serials on all parts EXCEPT the bolt release. It has the proper Swedish Crown proofs throughout and includes a cleaning rod. There is an import mark on the barrel from KBI Inc. "Swedish Mausers" are a family of bolt-action rifles based on an improved variant of Mauser's earlier Model 1893, but using the 6.5×55mm cartridge, and incorporating unique design elements as requested by Sweden.
