For sale is a AMT Custom Challenge Edition semi automatic rifle in .22lr. Serial number- CS00261. This AMT Challenge in is good condition with some surface rust on the barrel, bolt, and trigger housing (see photos for reference). The bore is bright and shiny. This AMT Challenge comes with (1) 10 round magazine. Though this rifle is chambered for .22lr, it is recommended to use match-grade ammo only. This rifle closely resembles the Ruger 10/22, so close in fact that it seems AMT had legal issues with Ruger over the design. This rifle does take Ruger 10/22 magazines. As its name implies, the Challenge Edition is inspired by the custom 10/22s used in Chevy Truck Sportsman’s Team Challenge, and it features a match grade heavy bull barrel, silhouette-type stock, light target grade trigger with a 1.5lbs pull weight, and oversized magazine release.
