Weatherby Vanguard – .270 Win – Bolt Action Hunter – Leupold Scope Rings

This is a no reserve penny auction for a Weatherby Vanguard bolt action rifle in .270 Winchester. Serial number – VL33777. This Vanguard features a black synthetic stock, 1" Leupold scope rings, and a 24" barrel. This bolt action rifle was manufactured in Japan. In the 1960s, Roy Weatherby recognized the need for a more affordable rifle that could chamber his signature cartridges and with this, in mind, the Vanguard project was born. Weatherby has partnered with the same trusted factory for over 50 years and has consistently produced some of the most accurate rifles on the market today. Note: there is minor surface scarring along the outside of the barrel and receiver. This rifle has minor finish wear commensurate with age and use.
