The Smith & Wesson .32 Double Action (DA) 4th Model Revolver, produced between 1883 and 1909, was a compact, top-break revolver popular for personal defense. It featured a double-action mechanism and was chambered in .32 S&W, making it easy to use and suitable for concealed carry. With approximately 239,000 units produced, it came in blued or nickel finishes with hard rubber or wooden grips. Though primarily used by civilians, its reliability and practical design made it a significant part of the evolution of pocket revolvers in the late 19th century, and it remains a popular collector's item today.
