JP Sauer & Sohn Western Marshal – .45 LC – Hawes SAA – w/ Holster! -45 Colt

This is a no-reserve penny auction for a JP Sauer & Sohn (imported by Hawes) Western Marshal single-action revolver in .45 LC. Serial number – 5/5850. This revolver is in great condition with some commensurate finish wear on the barrel and cylinder. It includes a Western-style leather holster. The bore is in excellent condition with strong lands and grooves! The timing and lock-up are on and are impeccable. JP Sauer produced the Western Marshal in the 60s and 70s as a firearm meant to be sold in the United States. Based on the Colt Model 1873 Single Action Army, it is not an exact copy. The revolver was meant to capitalize off the Western films topping the box office and offer affordable guns fans were seeing in the movies.
